Watch Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, and Seth Meyers Cause Some Hilarious Trouble At The Atlantic's Documentary Now! Screening

It was a mini-Saturday Night Live reunion on Tuesday night, when The Atlantic hosted an exclusive screening and panel discussion to kick off the new IFC series Documentary Now!.

After a screening of the first two episodes, creators Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers and Rhys Thomas sat down for a discussion with The Atlantic's editor-at-large Steve Clemons and MSNBC's Alex Wagner. The journalists quickly found themselves at the mercy of the comedians, who used the interview as an opportunity to make each other laugh along with answering questions. But really, would you expect anything less?

When the moderators were able to get a question in, the funny men insisted the hilarious tributes to films like Grey Gardens and Nanook of the North are meant to celebrate documentary filmmaking in all its many forms.  As Hader noted,

"I'm a big film fan," Hader said. "I get excited when they tell me they actually got the lenses they shot [acclaimed Errol Morris documentary] The Thin Blue Line on. We were all, like, 'Yeaaaaaahhhhhhh!'"
