Marc Maron is on a whirlwind press tour, but with a book and a television show to promote, he has to get in touch with his inner Energizer bunny and just keep going and going and going. Last night Marc swung by the set of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to talk about his new memoir, “Attempting Normal,” and his new television show, “Maron,” which premieres this Friday at 10/9c right here on IFC.
During his time on Jimmy Fallon’s set, the comedy dream team (seriously, can you imagine if those two teamed up?) discussed Marc’s career path from the self-described “crapped out” stage to king of the podcast to being on the cusp of having a television show based on his life. Not that Marc recommends that arc as a strategy for life success or anything.
