There’s nothing inherently wrong with breaking out your Nicholson at a party, but there are much more entertaining circumstances through which to perform celebrity impressions. Namely, under coercion. Such was the scenario this week when SNL player and upcoming Spirit Awards co-host Kate McKinnon stopped by The Tonight Show and was forced to do impersonations outside of her wheelhouse alongside actor Josh Brolin. To the guests’ credit, they did an admirable job. Brolin managed a passable Regis Philbin, and McKinnon captured a recognizable Christopher Walken. And should Mike Tyson ever return to The Tonight Show, he can politely mention to Jimmy Fallon that the host’s impression of him is a tad on-the-nose.
Check out McKinnon’s impressions of Walken and a certain bowtied man-child in the video below. For more Kate, be sure to catch her cohosting the 2016 Spirit Awards with Kumail Nanjiani live Saturday, Feb. 27th starting at 5P ET/2P PT on IFC. (Click here to find IFC on your TV in your area.)
