Is golf an acronym for “get out leave family”? That’s what Jerry Seinfeld wants to know in his new stand up routine that he debuted on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night. Don’t worry, Jerry hasn’t gotten soft in his post-“Seinfeld” years and he’s not a golf fan, in fact, he sums up the sport as such: “Wack. Where is it? Oh dammit.” Other topics included in Jerry’s set were fatherhood, parenting and when you should whisper.
It’s great to see Jerry back on the stand up circuit, even if for one night. While we’re big fans of his web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” which is back for a second season, and we love watching comedians, cars, and seeing other people drink caffeinated beverages, Jerry is truly great as a stand up comedian. That said, the second season of his web show features Chris Rock, Don Rickles, Seth Meyers, David Letterman and Sarah Silverman.
