Eric Roberts has played a lot of bad guys during his long Hollywood career. And for good reason, too. He seem to have been born with a slightly sardonic smile and an evilly charming glint in his eye. He was an Academy Award nominee for his role in “Runaway Train” and was nominated for Golden Globe three times. He’s received critical acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival for his roles in “A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints” in 2006 and “It’s My Party” in 1996. He kicked ass in “The Expendables” alongside Mickey Rourke and Sylvester Stallone and, of course, nailed it in “The Dark Knight,” opposite Christian Bale. The guy can do anything, and do it with style, which is why we’re so excited that he’s in our new action-comedy Bullet in the Face.
Bullet In The Face stars Max Williams, Neil Napier, Jessica Steen and Kate Kelton in a hyper-violent, tongue-in-cheek tale of a former thief who’s forced undercover by the cops in order to take down the city’s gang leaders. Eric Roberts plays Racken, a mob boss, with Eddie Izzard starring as his arch rival. Between the two of them, they are tearing the fictional town of Bruteville apart. This is totally better than the time he (well his clay avatar) battled Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond on Celebrity Deathmatch.
