IFC is heading to Comic Con on Sunday and David Cross, Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein will be there. That’s right we are donning our slave Leia costumes, Spock ears, and homemade “Joss Whedon Forever” t-shirts and stepping out to debut the new seasons of “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret” and “Portlandia” in style at New York Comic Con on October 16.
Yep, IFC’s hit comedy series, “Portlandia” and “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret” will make their first ever New York Comic Con appearances for two back-to-back panels on Sunday, October 16th starting at 11:00am. If you can’t make the panel, don’t worry, we will post exclusive new clips from “Portlandia” and “Todd Margaret” right here on this very website immediately after the panel, right about 2 p.m. ET, which is still brunch time on the west coast.
David Cross, creator, writer and star of “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret” will discuss the second season of his raucous misadventure with actor and comedian H. Jon Benjamin (“Archer”, “Jon Benjamin Has a Van”). Portlandia’s creators, writers and stars, Fred Armisen (“Saturday Night Live”), Carrie Brownstein (Wild Flag, Sleater-Kinney) and Jonathan Krisel (“Saturday Night Live”, “Tim and Eric Awesome Show”) will discuss the show’s highly anticipated second season in a discussion moderated by actor and comedian Seth Meyers (“Saturday Night Live”).
“The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret” and “Portlandia” return to IFC on January 9, 2012
