If there is one thing we learned from years of
watching episodes of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” studying in the library, it’s that history books are heavy and dusty. That’s why we prefer to get our history via highly accurate historical reenactments on the television. “Game of Thrones” teaches us a lot about the past. (It was very exciting! Also, incest-y.) We also get our history fix through shows like “The Tudors,” “The Borgias,” and, of course, The Whitest Kids U’Know. Their film-within-a-sketch-comedy series, “The Civil War on Drugs,” is a great lesson in the history that our teachers never taught us and our parents never knew. Tune in tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET for another installment of history.
“The Whitest Kids U’Know” airs on IFC on Fridays at 10:30 p.m. ET
