IFC Has Fitz and the Tantrums At SXSW

One would be hard pressed to think of another band playing today that sounds anything like Fitz and the Tantrums. The group’s sound is reminiscent of Motown, but their American soul has a healthy dose of modern tempos and wild beats that has fans begging for more and more. When they stopped by IFC’s home away from home at SXSW, they got the fans jumping up and down and singing along despite the heat in the crowded studio.

To the beat of a pounding drum, Fitz and the Tantrums entered the studio, managing to whip the crowd into a frenzy before they even started to perform. Their show got the house hopping:
