TGIF, right? I mean, two Thursdays in a row would be way too much for mere mortals to handle. After your busy work week spent putting birds on things or whatever lesser vocation you have, you just want to stumble home, put up your feet, and watch some quality television. Luckily for you Friday nights on IFC are a thing to behold.
The good times start at 8 p.m. ET/PT (which is definitely cocktail hour, no matter what time zone you’re in) with back-to-back episodes of everyone’s favorite family comedy Arrested Development. After the Bluths whet your appetite for the funny, 10 p.m. ET/PT brings the hard-hitting fact-finding of the Onion News Network. Let Brooke Alvarez educate you to all the latest in conspiracy theories and missing caucasian girls. Then a new episode of Portlandia airs at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. Just when you think you can’t take it anymore, it’s Mr. Show at 11 p.m., followed by feminist werewolf horror fable Ginger Snaps. So go ahead, sink back onto your bird-emblazoned accent pillow and settle in. You’re going to be here all night.
Here’s a clip from Arrested Development to tide you over until you get home:
