HBO will air Ricky Gervais’ new series "Extras," which is about, yes, movie extras. New Yorker Films has picked up the rights to "After Innocence," Jessica Sanders’ doc about the lives of wrongfully convicted men freed on the basis of DNA evidence. Our favorite imaginary tortured spouse Clive Owen will star in "The Children of Men," a near-future sci-fi affair to be directed by Alfonso Cuarón. Owen might also be reprising his gravelly voiced, hooker-banging character Dwight — JoBlo hears from "a reliable source" that Robert Rodriguez is planning to shoot "Sin City 2" and "Sin City 3," back to back, no less. Via Hollywood Reporter, Oliver Stone is in talks to helm "The Night Watchman," about corrupt cops something something, taking over from Spike Lee. Keanu Reeves may or may not still be attached to star. And the Filmmaker Magazine blog has the list of projects forthcoming from the Sundance Lab‘s navel-gazing indie film factory.
