Brooklyn's Myk O'Connor returns to the circuit a married man, having wed his long time beard‐coach Karolina Gwiazda in the off‐season. Though his proposal at last year's New York Beard and Mustache Championships might have been a success, his competitive season was definitively not. O'Connor has yet to take a medal in a major circuit event, but with a year of growth and Karolina's continued support, New York's hirsute hero hopes to finally make his mark on the sport and silence the nay‐sayers once and for all.
