The gang is excited about attending a campus performance by comedian Adam Sandler, but Steven is upset at Lloyd for inviting Steven's embarrassing divorced father, Hal. After the concert, Sandler comes up to the dorm lounge and visits the friends. Ron, who worships Sandler, admonishes everyone to behave normally, but Ron's fawning irritates Sandler. Marshall also makes a fool of himself, but Steven suffers the most when his nerdy father pulls out a guitar and sings an awful song about his ex-wife. Finally, Sandler excuses himself--and takes a willing Lizzie back to his hotel room, upsetting Steve even more.
