Born in New Jersey and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Monica Keena attended the famed LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts where she studied drama. Aside from her interest in acting, Keena has sharpened her creative skills by immersing herself in drawing, painting and singing, as well as dance classes throughout her life.

Keena's film credits include roles in the upcoming independent features "The Simian Line" opposite Lynn Redgrave and William Hurt, and "A Fate Totally Worse Than Death." She has also appeared in "Crime and Punishment in Suburbia," "Devil's Advocate," "While You Were Sleeping," "Ripe" and "All I Wanna Do," opposite Kirsten Dunst and Gaby Hoffman. Additionally, she starred as the lead in "Snow White" opposite Sigourney Weaver. Keena's television credits include the original movie "First Daughter" and a recurring role on "Dawson's Creek."
