The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret – Series 2

Posted by on

When you’re watching “Mad Men” or “30 Rock” or “Bridesmaids” even, do you ever find yourself wondering what it’s like to work with Jon Hamm? Yes, we said work with, we’re a respectable television network so get your mind out of the gutter. The thing with Jon Hamm is that he seems equally at ease playing silent stoic brooding types as he does playing completely loveable goofballs or, say, doing the robot. But what is he like when the cameras aren’t rolling? If you have ever wondered what it’s like to work with him, or even if you’re just now starting to, you’re going to want to watch this video. We spoke to David Cross about working with Jon Hamm while making the second and final season of “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret.” Watch and learn:

The End of Todd Margaret

When we first met David Cross’ new character Todd Margaret way back when, we immediately knew things weren’t going to end well for him. How did we know that? Because, first of all, have you heard the title? A name like “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret” does not give the impression that things are going to be all jellybeans and sunshine and happy endings. Second, in the very first episode of the show, in the very first few minutes even, we see Todd Margaret in handcuffs and on trial for a long laundry list of offenses against the crown and the people of England. Every episode between now and then has played witness to the downward spiral of Todd Margaret.

We knew things weren’t going to end well and we had a hint that it was Todd’s own increasingly poor decisions that were going to land him in the clink. And yet, after watching every single episode (some of them twice!) it is still surprising to see how very badly Todd has managed to miff up his own life. In tonight’s series finale, we finally see the culmination of each and every single bad choice, lie, ego-boosting falsehood, fib, fabrication, and poor decision that Todd Margaret has made. It will surely be a sight to behold.

So crack open a Thundermuscle and watch this clip from the very first show. Then tune in tonight to see how every thing turns out for Todd Margaret:

That Was Awkward

David Cross Takes Us Behind-The-Scenes of “Todd Margaret”

In the second season of David Cross’ “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret” there are no end of awkward situations. In fact, Todd Margaret’s poor decisions seem specifically designed to give the entire audience an ab work out because as we all know cringing for an hour is the secret to tight stomach muscles. We get our information from the internet so it has to be accurate, right? In a recent episode of “Todd Margaret,” Todd ended up at a hen party, which is just a classy Britishism for a bachelorette party. While bachelorette parties are usually filled with raunchy games, sexual innuendo, inappropriate jokes, and an anything goes attitude, there is one thing that should never ever be brought to a hen party: Todd Margaret. The show’s writer, star, and creator David Cross takes us behind the action of one of the most awkward scenes in “Todd Margaret” history. Which we all know, really means something.
