Portlandia Behind-the-Scenes: The Dream of the 1890s
During the first season of IFC’s hit comedy “Portlandia,” the world found out a little secret. That the Dream of the 90s was alive in Portland, Oregon. However as Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein began production of the second season of the hit comedy, they realized that there was another way of looking at what the 90s were. That’s when the Dream of the 1890s was born. In this video, we go behind-the-scenes of “Portlandia” with the show’s stars, creators, writers and director Jonathan Krisel as they talk about the creative process and the inspiration for the new old dream:
