Kathy Griffin (as Alice)
Kathy Griffin provides the voice for Alice, a colleague struggling to give her support amidst the absurdity of an office environment where she will always be misunderstood, in the half-hour animated comedy DILBERT, distributed by Columbia TriStar International Television, a Sony Pictures Entertainment company.
A native of Chicago, Griffin moved West to pursue an acting career and study at the Lee Strasberg Institute. After joining the famed Los Angeles Groundlings comedy improvisational troupe, Griffin began attracting attention. With that experience and solo stand-up routines, Griffin segued to guest-starring roles on such series as CTIT’s Mad About You, Caroline in the City, ER, Dream On, Ellen and also appeared as the recurring character Sally Weaver on CTIT’s Seinfeld.
In 1996, Griffin landed the regular series role of Vicki Groener, Brooke Shields' acerbic colleague on Suddenly Susan. She also headlined her own HBO 1/2-Hour Comedy Special with Kathy Griffin and will follow-up that success with an upcoming one-hour version.
Griffin has also appeared in the feature films Pulp Fiction, Cable Guy, It's Pat and Four Rooms.
