Jay Mohr stars as wunderkind egomaniac mega-producer Peter Dragon who heads his own production company, Dragonfire Films, in Columbia TriStar International Television’s new comedy ACTION.

Mohr burst onto the screen and received critical acclaim for his breakthrough role opposite Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire, the Oscar nominated film directed by Cameron Crowe.  Mohr was singled out for his outrageous portrayal as Cruise’s rival agent in the 1996 box-office hit film.

He immediately followed with a starring role opposite Jennifer Aniston in Picture Perfect.  Mohr was most recently seen on the big screen in Go, starring opposite Katie Holmes and Scott Wolf.  Mohr next stars opposite Britany Murphy in Cherry Falls, a horror feature for Polygram Films.  Mohr’s other film credits include Playing by Heart, Small Soldiers, 200 Cigarettes, Mafia!, Cherry Falls and Paulie. Mohr also starred Suicide Kings which was a complete turnaround from his comedic role in  Jerry Maguire and leading man role in Picture Perfect.

In 1993, Mohr first gained national attention with audiences with his starring role as a regular on Saturday Night Live with his incredible impressions of Christopher Walken, Ricki Lake and Sean Penn, among others.

Mohr resides in Los Angeles with his wife and his Rottweiler, Shirley.
