ABC's Jake Tapper has just reported that "Dems Fear Clinton's 'Tonya Harding' Option," apparently after speaking with a party official who offered up the snarky analogy. ABC took the idea and ran with it, even putting up side by side photos of the two blonds (ouch). The term coined in the article is catching fire so don't be surprised if you start hearing the disgraced figure skater's name on the Sunday morning talk shows. I bet Ms. Harding never thought she would have a political strategy named after her- It's no gold medal but it is flattering in a twisted sort of way. Following this scenario, Bill Clinton is Jeff Gillooly, Mark Penn is the gun for hire, Shane Stant and Obama is the beautiful Nancy. All we need to know now is what will represent Kerrigan's knee? I hope Mr. Tapper can find out for us...
