Today I had the incredible opportunity to be a guest on "Jonesy's Jukebox", one of the most awesome Indy radio shows in LA. Steven Jones, the remarkable man, the incredible Disk Jockey and of course former Sex Pistol, waxed soulfully on the many topics of the day....
'Why a waiter would give you ice water when you didn't request it, only to throw it down the drain when it wasn't even sipped. How heavy and oppressive were the clouds, on this cloudy day in LA.'
We talked of politics and both agreed that Barack was the one we would trust the most. I mentioned that one of my favorite words in the English Language was consideration, though not enough people ever really consider what their actions may bring about. I left the station today feeling calm. I heard more new music today than I have in a while, and the conversation flowed as a stream of unconsciousness, all of which resulted in me considering that it is freedom and creativity that truly nourish the soul.

Martha, You are a great performer and a great writer. You should consider a book. You rocked in the 80's and you still do! Your biggest fan. Dave.
