Cinema…the seventh art…the tenth muse…however you refer to it, It’s impossible to create a historical timeline of its evolution without mentioning France’s contributions. Not only the location of its birth, it’s the country that nurtured, developed and raised it, and made significant contributions towards cinema becoming one of the world’s most highly esteemed and thoroughly studied art forms.
