This week we finally see the end result of the struggle to translate "Watchmen," Alan Moore's "Citizen Kane" of graphic novels, to the screen -- as faithfully as possible, everyone involved has reassured. But is keeping so close to the source material a good thing for a movie? This week on the IFC News podcast, we look at the burdens of trying to please a built-in fanbase when adapting a book, comic book or anything else into film.

Hello IFC.
I live in Canada and up until episode 100 I was able to obtain your Podcast via iTunes. Since then I have not been able to get it. Why have you guys restricted your Podcast to listeners outside the US?
Any plans on returning this?
We know about the problem and are working our damndest on it -- when we launched our site redesign, the feed changed, and we have to work with Apple and Feedburner to coordinate, which is taking longer than expected. Thanks for your patience and for listening to the show.
Hi Alison,
Love the new site design so the delay is worth it.
Will have to take a day off to catch up on the podcasts - but, damn, that's gonna be a great day.
