IFC Vinyle Revivel!!
Wednesday, March 12, 2008 | 2:14 PM
I think because of the death of cd's record companys should push vinyl for its superior sound AND great LARGE album art + goodies... beats crappy little placstic cases that snap all the time.
IFC should make fony PSA's Telling parents to break out thier turntable and records from the attic and teach thier kids about why thier original copy of Pink floyd - The Dark side of the moon is Sounds and looks cooler than thier burnt copy..
All records sold should have coupons with think to digital versions of the songs they bought.. Allowing them to be put on ipods or or w/e u have (DRM Free of course...)

"All records sold should have coupons with a LINK to..."
PSA's = public service annonucments
lol yea when i read that i was like wait a min..what? but thanx 4the correction and i could not agree with you anymore...PLASTIC CASES SUCK!!!! I have broken so many that I dont even care anymore lol. But yea screw getting the record player out the attic...its in my parents living room lol:-D.
I TOTALLY support the vinyle revival!!! the art work would come out even better being that our technology is crazy good now. and i think everyone has that same complaint about how it breaks and cracks...i mean really...its 2008! they should do something about it!
LONG LIVE THE VINYLE!!!!
w0w people atually responded and liked the idead!!!YOU HEAR THAT IFC!!! I expect a call from a camera crew saying you are on your way... Ill get busy with the storyboarding the PSA
LOL!! I guess vinyle will never go. I father has some records from when he first came to us allmost 30 years ago. Now my son has Bob Marley Vinyle Records to jam to.
