You know how on certain reality shows there will a token macho guy who makes a random comment like, "Yo, he's a good lookin' dude. If I wasn't straight I'd let him play with my wiener." Then later in the confessional/talking-head segment he'll admit, "What?! I'm strong enough in my sexuality to admit other guys are good lookin'." Well, I'm strong enough in my musical background to admit that Paula Abdul's "Straight Up" is one of my favorite pop songs of all time. Though I'm not necessarily a Paula Abdul fan, I am a fan of this song.

Why do I bring this up? Cause today is Paula Abdul's birthday? Guess how old she is? If you said "46," buy yourself a cupcake with sprinkles.
