The Breeders, Mountain Battles
I liked the Breeders in the 90's, I liked them in 2002, and I like 'em again in 2008.

Tapes 'N Tapes, Walk It Off
They're baaaack with their sophomore effort. How will T'NT hold up to the critical blogosphere this time around?

Jim Noir, Jim Noir
Speaking of sophomore efforts, this is also Jim Noir's second time around. Can he continue delivering his infectious pop hooks?

Cut Copy, In Ghost Colours
With advance copies, and internet leaks, and iTunes pre-releases, sometimes I get confused when an album is actually released. I'm pretty sure this one comes out in stores today (if it hasn't already). Everyone seems to be digging this Australian electronic trio.

Adele, 19
She's from the U.K. and she's spittin' some of that neo-soul behind some tight orchestration.

Clinic, Do It!
I always have a place in my heart for Clinic, they did the theme song for a show I used to work on.

Man Man, Rabbit Habits
If you're not familiar with Man Man you may think they're a bit odd.

The Courteeners, St. Jude
Arcade Fire chug with Gallagher brother's flair.

The Living Legends, The Gathering
California hip-hop collective doing their thing.

The Grouch, Show You the World
"Independent hustler since '95..."

P.O.D., When Angels & Serpents Dance
Marcos (guitarist) is back, Sonny's dreadlocks aren't.

If I missed anything or got something wrong, please let me know. The mountain top on Indie Ear is by no means infallible.
