Some of this may be old news to you, but if you're cruising the internet looking for some FREE quality music, check out the following:

Ratatat presents Remixes Vol. II
Get your hands on Volume II before it becomes as difficult to track down as Volume I. If you like to view your mainstream hip-hop through an indie lens, this is as good as it's going to get. I threw this album into my iPod shuffle, and when I'm out on a morning run and the Notorious B.I.G. tracks come on, I feel like I got rocket-boosters in my shoes!
The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust (Saul Williams)
Saul Williams with Trent Reznor (NIN) behind the boards on production. Throw a U2 "Sunday Bloody Sunday" cover in there, and you'll be like, "Damn, am I really getting this for free?" Hurry up--the offer's only good for the first 100,000 downloads.
Free Four Track EP (Liars)
A few years ago the Liars split their fan-base in half--half of them enjoyed the Liars' new witch-loving-anti-pop-song approach to music and the other half was pissed that the group lost their groove. The latter will be happy to know that the Liars rediscovered their need to make people dance last year by releasing the very bouncy Liars. If you don't own the self-titled album, the Liars are handing out four free demos from it--their way of mending fences with their groove-oriented fans.
