Is something not right about naming a 3D horror movie--whose commercial features a wall of flames bursting from a movie screen towards it's 3D-glass-wearing audience--after a highly influential indie-rock band? (left: Alas there is a "3D" to make a distinction between the two.) CORRECTION: It didn't occur to me until my friend Randy corrected me today that My Bloody Valentine, the highly influential indie-rock band, actually got their name from the 1981 slasher movie, My Bloody Valentine. Back to the 90's

Every so often my wife reminds me that I'm stuck in the 90's. I'm sure my love for the decade has also seeped through on many of my blog postings--this one is no different. One of my best friends (who I actually met in the 90's) sent me the link to the following 90's mixtape, Radio Friendly Unit Shifter. Besides some crossfades and tickle scratches, there's not a whole of mixtape parlor tricks going on here, nevertheless, the shot selection is near perfect and quite generous (38 tracks).
