The New Year Begins With a Less Than Stellar Start

Happy New Year! Today is the first day many Americans are returning to work from their holiday breaks. 2008 is over and 2009 is on. Blogs will get back to business as normal, and the search for the 10 best albums of the year begins all over again. My Thanksgiving Recap

Another Thanksgiving come, another Thanksgiving go. Here are some of my higlights and low-lights from yesterday: T-DAY HIGHLIGHTS: Four Pittsburghers celebrating Thanksgiving in a small NYC apartment. The homemade meal was strong, and because I haven't puked within the last 12 hours, it means I didn't undercook the turkey (whew). (left: I'm thankful for 1. The Fiery Furnaces, Remember You can buy it online this week and buy the hard copy next week. The real news is, this album has 51 freakin' tracks. Wouch! The Subways, All Or Nothing Okay, I believe All Or Nothing is finally out in the states. I misreported on this a few weeks ago and no one called me on my bad. C'mon people.
