If the last few years are any indication, the organizers will attempt to woo all demographics by pairing together older musicians with younger ones, and even pair together an unknown with a Grammy nominee. He recently teamed up with DJ AM to create the Fix Your Face mixtape, which you can listen to in its entirety HERE. Basically it's DJ AM cutting together a collection of tracks ranging from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Daft Punk, and Jay Z, to a handful of old-school hip-hop classics. Filed under: HODGEPODGEI'm sure many of you have seen the joint collabo Julian Casablancas (The Strokes), Santogold, and Pharrell Williams (N.E.R.D., The Neptunes) recently did for Converse. Over the last few years it's been common practice in the indie world to lend out a song for a commercial. (left to right: Julian Casablancas, Santogold, Pharrell Williams) However, the trio mentioned above, not only lend out a song, but they created an original tune and also appear in the clip.
