The Thermals, with a new drummer, Westin Glass (formerly of Say Hi), and a new record label, Kill Rocks Stars (they were formerly on Sub Pop), just announced the release date of their brand new album, Now We Can See--April 7--and a string of live tour dates which will begin at SXSW. The Thermals Set Release Date

Filed under: NEWSPortland-basement-rockers, The Thermals, last released an album in 2006; the catchy The Body, The Blood, The Machine. Since then they've lost a drummer (then added one, Westin Glass) and switched indie record labels (Sub Pop to Kill Rock Stars). (left: Kathy and Hutch have a new label, a new drummer, and a new album set to be released.) The Thermals announced that their new album, Now We Can See, will be released on April 7, 2009.
