A wandering ronin encounters a band of peasants who have kidnapped the daughter of their dictatorial magistrate to protest high taxes. The ronin and two renegades from the magistrate’s guard (Tetsuro Tamba, Isamu Nagato, Mikijiro Hira) take up their fight and find themselves in a battle to the death.
