Jerry Kernion directed and produced the second DVD release for the Reduced Shakespeare Company entitled The Complete History of America, Abridged available worldwide. He has directed three short films, The Traveling Salesman, King for a Day and Speed Relationship-ing, which recently won the Dances with Films 2min 2step competition.

This short is so wonderfully original and funnier than hell.

Very impressive. The acting and comedic timing is pitch perfect. Even though it's obviously an actor's piece, I wish a little more went into the visuals.
I understand that the director certainly wouldn't want to do anything that would distract viewers from the actors and their perfomance. But still, the lighting, ambient audio, and set all feel really flat, like a daytime soap.... but maybe that's actually appropiate for the material. hmmmm.
anyhow. Great work. I can easily see why it won at the Dances with Film Fest.
