IFC.com takes you there with The Mary Van Note Show, a 10 episode exploration into the inner machinations of Mary's mind. Told both in direct to camera and in real and imagined sequences, The Mary Van Note Show follows Mary on a special personal quest: to get the boy of her dreams.

This boy, however, is not just anyone. He's Gavin Newsom, San Francisco's famous and rather handsome mayor. Each episode features Mary as she runs through the dating "how to" manual, from recruiting a wing man to dressing to the nines, to straight-up stalking.
