ABOUT Like So Many Things

Like So Many Things is a dramatic web series about two lost souls in Brooklyn. After a lackluster impromptu first date, Lucy and Karl try to give it another chance after an encounter on the streets of Brooklyn. Back to Lucy's apartment, the two dance around a mutual attraction, but where it leads might surprise you.

Marin Gazzaniga and Greg Keller star as the conflicted protagonists Lucy and Karl, two people looking for solace in everything from the bar scene to the past and even to each other. From the atmospheric surroundings to the stark nature of the dialogue, the series takes a realistic approach to the awkward and tense process of making an emotional connection out of something as ephemeral as a couple of lines traded over drinks. Can the protagonists get away from their pasts and let go of their personal baggage to enjoy a night together, or does this chance at love have to end like so many things do?

ThisThing Films is an indie film production company founded by Marin Gazzaniga and Anslem Richardson. We gather filmmakers to collaborate on each others' projects and urge members to work outside of their usual areas. We believe that good filmmaking comes from understanding all of the roles - from writing to acting, directing and producing, editing and all things in between.
