Henry Rollins

Always outspoken and never dull, Henry Rollins accepts dozens of speaking engagements each year and is known for bringing a raw energy to his talks and has won a Grammy Award for best spoken word record. A constant fixture on the Indie film scene, Rollins hosts a weekly radio show "Harmony In My Head" on Indie 103.1 FM in Los Angeles. Most recently, Rollins appeared in 2006's Lies and Alibis with Steve Coogan and Rebecca Romijn and has a lead role in the Project Greenlight feature Feast. Meanwhile, the DVD from Henry's 2004 tour 'Shock and Awe' and his latest written works, Roomanitarian and Fanatic! were released on the 2-13-61 imprint, a publishing company owned by Rollins which releases books, CDs and DVDs. In 2006, Rollins' spoken word tour '25 Years of Bullshit' made its way through the U.S. and Europe.

Henry Rollins joined the Southern California band BLACK FLAG as vocalist in 1981. In 1986, the band broke up and Henry formed THE ROLLINS BAND. Henry owns a publishing company called 2-13-61 - this imprint he has released more than a dozen books, several CDs and DVDs of his own, and the work of others such as Henry Miller, Iggy Pop and Nick Cave.

Henry does speaking dates all over the world every year and, along with the band dates, has averages over one hundred shows a year for twenty-five years. He has performed in several movies and TV shows includes Bad Boys II, Heat, and The Drew Carey Show. He has recently been visiting troops on behalf of the USO. These trips have taken him to Kyrgystan, Qatar, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq, and Honduras.

Henry has also appeared in two specials on IFC: "Henry Rollins: Uncut from NYC" in 2005 (now available on DVD) and "Henry Rollins: Uncut from Israel," which premieres on April 13th at 9 pm ET before this season's first episode of The Henry Rollins Show.
