Gunslinger Girl makes me think of the movie “The Professional” and what it would be like as a prequel with kids.

Anyone know when the 2nd season comes out over here

I think this is a great example of how far we can take cartooning and also a great way of setting the way we learn as human children, kinda creepy, but I love this animation and the music is great, all a great effort and this should be an award winner, at least! thank you all of the cast and crew!! -----Esto

I hope anime like Gunslinger Girl and all of the others that IFC has shown, among other tites, return to the IFC lineup. I feel that true anime is not shown nearly enough. If anime were shown more regulary on one provider more people would be able to find it and watch it, increasing viewership. Thanks to IFC for at least airing it as long as you did, but I would like to get it returned on a more long term basis.

This show was cool, and it also reminded me of The Professional, which was a great movie.
