“Star Trek Into Darkness” new clip and international trailer released
Kirk certainly is a great, if daring, pilot.
This wouldn’t be a good “Star Trek” movie is it didn’t feature many life-or-death situations, and the one featured in this latest clip is one we’ve seen frequently in trailers for “Into Darkness.” While trying to evade someone chasing them, Kirk flies his ship through a very small crevice despite Spock’s advice otherwise.
Meanwhile a new Japanese trailer is loaded with plenty of new Benedict Cumberbatch footage. For those of you out there who, like us, are obsessed with the “Sherlock” star, this should just about make your day. He looks like he’ll end up being the perfect “Star Trek” villain.
“Star Trek Into Darkness” is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban, John Cho, Alice Eve, Cumberbatch and Bruce Greenwood. The film is slated to hit theaters in IMAX on May 15 and in regular cinemas on May 17. It’s been revealed that over 40 minutes of “Star Trek Into Darkness” will be shown in IMAX. Here’s the official plot synopsis:
