“Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie” gets a teaser trailer and release date

There are no words to describe this teaser for Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim's upcoming movie.
Much like the television series that inspired it, the first teaser for “Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie” is perplexing, uncomfortable, and yet strangely amusing. It also offers the first information about when the film will hit theaters.
Debuting over at Funny Or Die, the 45-second teaser features a bunch of funny, fictional call-out quotes for the film, then shifts to a short series of clips that define explanation, and closes with the news that the film will be available via on-demand video on January 27 and in theaters March 2.
While you won’t learn any of this from the teaser, the film is written and directed by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim of “Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job,” and (according to various reports) tells the story of two men who spend $1 billion on a movie. The film is reported to co-star Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Robert Loggia, Jeff Goldblum, Will Forte and William Atherton — along with Tim and Eric, of course.
Here’s the teaser, but let it be known that we tried to warn you — it somehow manages to be even more bizarre than the television series:
