Last night, IFC marked the highly-anticipated return of the Onion News Network with a special live New York staging of the FactZone. As you are aware, the world is scheduled to be destroyed by a giant asteroid at 10:30 p.m. tonight. Being consummate news professionals, the Onion News Network will, of course, be broadcasting until the end of the world. As the network of the people, ONN is even willing to let viewers choose whoever they wanted as guests for the end-of-the-world episode. The audience could pick the president, religious leaders, scientists, anybody — and they picked reality stars. So last night ONN’s lead anchor Brooke Alvarez sat down with Ice-T and Coco, stars of E!’s “Ice Loves Coco,” to talk about their plan to save the world. Spoiler: It involves “ass gravity.” As Ice says, “Obama didn’t think of that!”
