The Gotham Awards Laud “Winter’s Bone”

Ready or not, here comes award season.
The Gotham Awards took place last night in New York, the indie film salute (organized by IFP) that marks the start of weeks of celebration, speculation, strappy shoes and acceptance speeches. At the Gothams, Debra Granik’s “Winter’s Bone” came out on top with prizes for best feature and best ensemble performance. Next up, the Spirit Awards, who announce their nominations this morning.
