The latest “Tron: Legacy” trailer puts a scene to the photo that showed French duo Daft Punk getting a cameo in the film. They are revealed to be the DJ pets of Michael Sheen’s ridiculous rave character, Castor, who wields the most tremendous glow-stick ever imagined.

The track, “Derezzed,” which Daft Punk created for the score is featured, while they bang buttons and turn knobs in their programmable DJ booth. Presumably, something to “electrify the boys and girls” with, though I don’t find the track too thrilling, the load of eye candy and snippets of dialogue are plenty to nerd out on.
