Last year Public Enemy celebrated the 20th Anniversary of It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back, by playing it from start-to-finish at select concert stops. This year P.E. will be doing it backed by hip-hop's unofficial house band, The Roots, at The Roots Picnic....
Last year Public Enemy celebrated the 20th Anniversary of It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back, by playing it from start-to-finish at select concert stops. This year P.E. will be doing it backed by hip-hop’s unofficial house band, The Roots, at The Roots Picnic.
Part of me loves it, part of me is perfectly satisfied with just two turntables, and part of me wants the guys to start thinking about the 20th Anniversary of Apocalypse ’91, which is only a couple years away (and my favorite Public Enemy album).
