Bonnaroo ’09 Announced (Kind Of)
The 8th Annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has officially been confirmed for June 11-14, 2009. The 4-day music and camping festival will be held, once again, in Manchester, TN. Even though the line-up will not be announced until "late January/early February" you can take a great leap of faith with the festival promoters and purchase General Admission or VIP tickets at 12PM today, as part of a holiday pre-sale. (left: Christmas is the time to say "I love you" by buying your significant other tickets to Bonnaroo.) Though Bonnaroo has always kept true to its jam-band roots, the last few years have seen more mainstream (less hippy-esque) acts like Kanye West and Metallica on the bill. It will be interesting to see who the organizers pluck this year....
