Saying Goodbye To TRL with Haikus
I don't know if this popped up on anyone's radar, but last night MTV said farewell to its former flagship show, TRL (Total Request Live). I don’t know if this popped up on anyone’s radar, but last night MTV said farewell to its former flagship show, TRL (Total Request Live). Demonstrating how popular TRL had become, or how low it had sunk, I found out about the finale through a text message from my mother.
I was never a fan of the show, so when I found out it was being cancelled, I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t feel some sense of joy run through my veins. On the other hand, I had a lot of friends who worked on the show, and I know it’s not the easiest thing finding work in today’s media climate (I know from first hand experience).

And I’m happy that it’s gone
Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye!

Sold Gangsta Rap to young kids
Not anymore, ha:)
Goodbye TRL
