Every so often my wife reminds me that I'm stuck in the 90's. I'm sure my love for the decade has also seeped through on many of my blog postings--this one is no different. One of my best friends (who I actually met in the 90's) sent me the link to the following 90's mixtape, Radio Friendly Unit Shifter. Besides some crossfades and tickle scratches, there's not a whole of mixtape parlor tricks going on here, nevertheless, the shot selection is near perfect and quite generous (38 tracks). The 90's nostalgia is also heightened with the use of many memorable TV and movie quotes from the decade. If you want to know why I'm a such sucker for the 90's, this mixtape is a perfect place to start....
