We look at "21," the plague of the poker fad on screen, and a few gambling films that get it right.
“21,” which is based on the true story of a group of MIT students who used a card-counting system to win millions of dollars in the Vegas casinos, isn’t the first film to tackle gambling as a topic… and it’s doubtful anyone would call it the best, either. But gambling, whether it be on cards, dice, horses or other people, is tough to capture on screen.
