I wouldn't call it my favorite, but the movie "Things we lost in the fire" was a really good film I didn't expect. Benicio's role was fantastic.

In the early 50s I watched a movie on tv...I can not remember the name but think it might be called something like: Old Man in the Forest? The movie was B&W l940s and was a story about an old man in a forest who lived (I think) in a tree and befriended a young boy....Would appreciate any help out there...thanks

My personal favorite is AMERICAN HISTORY X.
It had everything in it that i look for in a good film.

1) Clear and meaningful plot
2) Connects you to the characters
3) Emotional response

(and *ahem* partial nudity?? :))
