Comedian David Cross was sensitive enough about taking a role in "Alvin and the Chipmunks" that he felt the need to defend himself on his blog. But he's hardly the first to take a less than Oscar-winning part for a payout this week on the IFC News podcast, we list out a few of our favorite respected actors who have shown themselves to be unafraid to star opposite, say, a talking baby.
