Yes! Arrested Development (& TV news)

IFC keeps reaching into my brain to find good ideas.
IFC picked up all three seasons of Arrested Development, and will begin showing them this Sunday, October 25, at 10 pm. Part of the Automat.
Monty Python and Arrested Development - it's like the best parts of my youth and of my recent past are coming together in one powerful form. What's next? R2D2 and Elle Macpherson delivering the 2004 Red Sox championship?
Fox is putting together a comedy series based upon the Dog Whisperer with Wilmer Valderrama.
Lassie with a laugh track? That 70s Dog? Do dogs have comic timing? Does Wilmer Valderrama? It's clearly going to be either awesome or terrible. No in between. I wanna watch.
Fox ordered a spec script about a man who pretends to need rehab in order to connect with his high school sweetheart.
Sounds more like a Ben Stiller - Kristen Bell movie than a TV show, but good luck with that.
Reader Note: Take a pause after you read the first sentence below and try to imagine what might follow. Then read the second.
Samuel L. Jackson and his UppiTV company are creating a comedy for CBS. It will be about the wife of a Congressman who takes is seat after he suddenly dies.
They don't seem to connect, do they? "M'fing snakes on a plane!" and "Upholding the Constitution to honor my fallen spouse" don't seem to go together... which means it might just be brilliant.
More soon, including a Halloween-Sketch comedy piece that might just scare you to death! Mwuahhahahahaha!
