Watch the Monty Python reunion in your jammies

A lot of folks have tried to get tickets to Thursday's Monty Python reunion at the Ziegfeld Theater. And... a lot of folks have failed, and a lot of folks have taken no solace in the fact that I'll report every detail I possibly can from the event.
So, IFC has decide to bring the reunion to you. Live. As it happens. In your home. IFC.com, PythOnline.com, and UStream are coming together to broadcast this awesome event.
From the press release:
By visiting IFC.com or PythOnline.com Thursday, October 15 at approximately 9:00 PM EST, audiences across the U.S. can watch the historic event reuniting all five surviving members of the Monty Python team -- John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, and Michael Palin -- as they take to the stage for a Q&A discussion with the audience. IFC will produce the live stream in conjunction with UStream, the leading internet broadcasting platform.
This event marks the first time The Pythons have been together in this manner in more than ten years. In true Python fashion, the troupe will somehow appear in its complete six-member form for their 40th reunion, although Python member Graham Chapman died in 1989. The Pythons will also accept a Special Award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) honoring their outstanding contribution to film and television.
Frankly, IMHO, we're showing you the very best part of evening. Red carpet celebrity parades happen every few hours in this biz... you can watch the documentary yourself all next week on IFC ... but, this, the live, first-time-in-10-years reunion of the Monty Python team is what's going to be special and, frankly, un-reportable. Who can really recreate what might happen? They might laugh, they might cry, they might dance, fight, or break into the Lumberjack song. Seriously, who knows? I've really been looking forward to it, but have been bummed I can't drag along more friends. Now, however you, my friends, can be there, too. Very cool.
p.s. If you're looking for me, I'll be the guy with the smile on my face sitting next to a confused and/or frightened woman.
