Carlin (Brent Green | Schuylkill Haven, PA | 7:00)
"My Aunt Carlin moved in with us when I was a kid. She had diabetes and really wanted to die. She didn't think she'd ever die. I was pretty sure she would." Carlin was shot in stop-motion, with life-sized wooden characters and taxidermied chickens, in the farmhouse Brent Green grew up in.

Oliver's startling sideways-leaping video matches and mish-mashes Rosen's ranting alarm "I'm just starting to communicate. You're my only audience and I'm not sure I like you."
Death to the Tinman (Ray Tintori | Brooklyn | 12:00)
Winner of the Honorable Mention for Short Film at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. Why did the Wizard of Oz' Tinman have no heart? This scrappy story of a man reduced to scrap-metal is desperately romantic and dazzlingly inventive.
